About Me

I'm Lawrence Hua, a Senior AI Product Manager and the founder of Expired Solutions. I started in software engineering and still write code, build prototypes, and work through implementation with engineers. I'm usually still involved after launch, testing the product and working through what needs fixing.

I grew up in my family's restaurant business. While developing Expired Solutions, I spent four months working in a grocery store's produce department before writing code. I wanted to understand the job I was building for. That experience shaped the product's focus on freshness checks and markdowns.

These days, a lot of my work is in AI agents: building them, testing their output, and figuring out where they fit into a real workflow. I'm interested in how much of a problem we can actually solve, and what it takes to make the result dependable.
